A water cooler in the office is one product we all should have. This month we look into the facts of dehydration and how it affects productivity in the work place.

Our brains are made up of 75% water and as such, we require a steady intake of water. It takes a loss of only 1% – 2% of your body’s ideal water content to cause dehydration.

Develop a Habit to drink water regularly. Also develop a habit to save water at workplace. Also help your management also to save the water because User wastes more water than the organizer by not closing the tap, etc.

Here are few ways to Save water at your Office:

1. Install low-flow toilets:

According to the Environmental Protection Agency, the largest share of water in office buildings is through bathroom use. The EPA also notes that older, inefficient toilets use about six gallons of water per flush, while the water-efficient kind use 1.28 gallons or less per flush a big savings, especially if your workplace has multiple restrooms. Check with your local water authority many offer rebates for changing to high-efficiency toilets.

2. Check for leaks:

Check your faucets for leaks and fix them promptly. This drip calculator can tell you how much water your dripping faucet is wasting.

3. Install faucet aerators:

Attach aerators to hand-washing faucets. Aerators mix water with air, creating a more misty spray and using less water than conventional faucets. If your company offers on-site showers, switch to low-flow showerheads.

4. Use Signage:

Put signs up reminding co-workers to turn off the water while lathering and scrubbing hands, and then turn it back on to rinse….

Some People develop a habit of drinking tea instead of drinking water. Tea cannot replace water. You require minimum 8 glasses of water to drink. Drink 8 glasses of water and work more productively. Also stay healthy and fit.
